Today on Fox News Sunday, the “conservative” outlet continued advancing the President’s agenda by asking the new WH communications director if the media is putting out “Fake news” to bring down the Trump administration. I’m speechless. If you turn on Fox News, you’ll hear something completely different from MSNBC, and even CNN. It’s as if they live in an alternate reality over there. They are not reporting objectively, as they are attempting to advance a Trumpian agenda. The biggest spokesperson for the President is in fact Sean Hannity himself, now that Bill O’Reilly is out. It’s not to say that … Continue reading Dear Trump & Co. : Quit screaming “Fake News”
He struggled in the polls during the general election, then went on to beat Hillary Clinton. Now, Donald Trump, President of the United States, is facing the lowest job approval rating of any president at this time since polling began. Ouch. However, the story among his base is different. According to the same poll, 82% of Republicans approve of the job that Trump is doing. The Trump base will see these poll numbers and simply push them off as coming from a “liberal” (used as a pejorative) news outlet, and even call it fake news. That is because the ride-or-die … Continue reading The Republican base will never let go of support for the President. Ever.
The free press is the foundation of democracy, the voice of the American people, and a vital piece of American politics. Not if you ask the president. Yes, he called it the enemy of the American people back in February and has continually waged war against the “mainstream media” along with a host of conservative commentators. He has specifically targeted CNN, as seen in a violent video where he beat a man with the CNN logo imposed on his face to the ground. He has called it #FakeNews, #FraudNews, as well as #FNN. This is childish at best. Actions like … Continue reading Trump’s war on the media is disgraceful.
MSNBC’s Morning Joe co-host Joe Scarborough announced that he is leaving the Republican party. The prime reason as to which he claimed he was leaving was the lack of republicans standing up to the president, and their willingness to go along with all of his unprecedented behavior. He highlights a recent change in the Republican party as it has become the party of Trump. Now, there are a few outliers such as Graham and McCain who have repeatedly called out Trump for his inexcusable behavior, however the rest of the party have remained staunch supporters. This falling in line with … Continue reading More conservatives should be like Joe Scarborough
I took screenshots of the three cable news outlets’ websites late Sunday evening. You can immediately notice Fox’s more positive Trump coverage than CNN or NBC News. This can also be validated by a study done at Harvard, as seen below Some might point to the graph and say that Trump is being unfairly treated by the media. I think not. According to Gallup, Trump’s current job approval rating at the time of this post is a mere 38%. By comparison, Obama’s approval rating was at 65% during this time. Therefore, it makes sense that the media is covering Trump … Continue reading Sorry, the media isn’t unfair to Trump.
And here we have it straight from his Twitter (@realDonaldTrump, not @POTUS of course), poor ole’ Donald is the victim of a witch hunt! AND the Obama administration did illegal acts…? The president claims that the Clinton campaign was involved with illegal activity as well. I’ll need sources – and not Fox News. I assume that this will be another baseless claim like the wiretapping allegations against former president Barack Obama, which were debunked by just about everyone except Devin Nunes. I personally find it ironic that Trump was calling Obama reminiscent of Nixon with stories like these running on … Continue reading Donald Trump claims he’s on the receiving end of a witch hunt…
